For those who haven't read it, John White highlights several biblical characters and the ways God drew them close (Abraham being one). I personally liked the book because it makes drawing close to God something attainable and available to anyone who claims to follow God. <BR/><BR/>Another great read is James E. White's book Embracing the Mysterious God (http://www.ivpress.com/cgi-ivpress/book.pl/code=2377)<BR/>which echo's in many of the same ways John White does our continual struggle to understand a God who often act differently than we expect.Matt and Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06701968540815724563noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30495448.post-25960128820284539472008-04-08T09:57:00.000-05:002008-04-08T09:57:00.000-05:00I like this post. :)I like this post. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30495448.post-22373202524544132292008-04-05T12:04:00.000-05:002008-04-05T12:04:00.000-05:00IF you have not read John White's book, I highly r...IF you have not read John White's book, I highly recommend doing so.
